WHAT'S ALREADY IN YOUR HANDS? ARE YOU MISSING THIS KEY TO TAKING ACTION ON YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT?

We often talk about what we’re waiting for—more clarity, more time, more confirmation, more support. But what if the next step doesn’t start with what’s coming... and instead starts with what’s already in your hands?

Moses didn’t feel ready. Standing at the burning bush, full of doubts and excuses, he questioned everything about his own ability. But God didn’t for one minute entertain those insecurities. He simply asked, “What’s that in your hand?”

It was just a staff. A stick. Something ordinary. But when Moses surrendered it to God, that simple, everyday object became the very instrument through which miracles flowed and destinies shifted.

It parted seas. It demonstrated power. It led a nation.

IT'S A BIG KEY FOR TAKING ACTION ON YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT

You see, the same question stands today...

What has God already placed in your hands?

It might not feel like much. But it might be more than enough. Maybe it’s a story you’ve lived through that others desperately need to hear. Maybe it’s a skill you’ve downplayed that God wants to use for something greater. Maybe it’s a tiny pocket of time in your day that could carry divine weight if surrendered to purpose. Perhaps it's time to stop asking God to give you a new opportunity to be obedient and instead, ask Him to give you fresh eyes to see what’s already yours to steward.

We’re so quick to dismiss what we already carry. It feels too small, too simple, too familiar. But throughout scripture, God uses the overlooked and the ordinary to release breakthrough.

Five loaves.

Two fish.

A jar of oil.

A mustard seed.

In our efforts to strive for something significant, we underestimate the power of what we’ve been entrusted with, and we miss the miracles that can flow through it.

So friend, let me ask you again:

What’s in your hand?

What do you already have access to that you’ve been underestimating?

What’s sitting unused because you’re waiting for a more “impressive” assignment or a clearer directive?

What if momentum isn’t about finding something new… but stewarding something well?

Start there. Use what you have. Trust what God’s given you. And know that obedience often looks like picking up what’s already been entrusted to you, and moving forward with intention.

Because when God breathes on what’s in your hand, it becomes more than a tool. It becomes a testimony.
