You’ve been waiting.
Waiting for the breakthrough. Waiting for the moment when it all clicks into place. Waiting for the perfect conditions, the perfect confidence, the perfect sign from God that says, Now is the time.
And so, you wait.
And wait.
And wait some more.
But can I let you in on something?
The miracle you’re waiting for is already in motion. And it starts with one small step.
Why We Stay Stuck Waiting
We get stuck in this idea that big dreams require big leaps. That unless we can go all in, give it 100%, or see the whole plan laid out before us, it’s not even worth starting.
So, instead of moving forward, we stall.
We tell ourselves things like:
🚫 “I need more clarity before I start.”
🚫 “I’ll do it when I have more time.”
🚫 “Once I feel ready, then I’ll take action.”
🚫 “If I can’t do it perfectly, I shouldn’t do it at all.”
Sound familiar?
Here’s the truth: Clarity comes through action. Momentum comes through movement. And readiness? It’s a myth.
The secret to moving forward in faith is most often not found in waiting—it’s found in stepping. Small steps lead to big miracles. Of course there are times when God calls us to be still - to stand still and wait while He does what only He can, but it's important to discern when He's commanding us to wait and when He's waiting on us.
God Moves When You Move
God rarely gives us the full picture upfront. He doesn’t hand us a detailed roadmap with every step neatly outlined. Instead, He gives us the next step. Just one.
Think about Moses. God didn’t show him exactly how the Red Sea would part—He just told him to raise his staff.
Think about Peter. Jesus didn’t give him a lesson in walking on water—He simply said, “Come.”
The miracle happens in the movement. When we step out, even when we’re unsure, even when we feel unqualified, God meets us there.
He’s not asking for perfection. He’s asking for obedience.
What’s in Your Hand?
In Exodus 4:2, when Moses doubted his ability to lead, God asked him a simple question:“What is that in your hand?”
Moses had a staff. Just an ordinary, everyday tool. But in the hands of God? It became the instrument for miracles.
The same is true for you.
You just need to take what’s in your hand and start.
Small Steps, Big Miracles
What if, instead of waiting for the perfect time, you simply started where you are?
What if you:
✨ Took five minutes a day to work on that dream instead of telling yourself you don’t have enough time?
✨ Wrote one paragraph a day instead of waiting until you “feel” like a writer?
✨ Took one tiny action toward your business instead of feeling paralysed by the big picture?
What if the breakthrough you’ve been praying for is on the other side of one small step?
Because here’s the secret: Small, consistent steps lead to massive transformation.
Your Invitation: Take the First Step
This is your invitation to stop waiting and start moving.
What’s one small step you can take today toward your God-given dream?
Not tomorrow. Not next week. Today.
Write it down. Commit to it. Then take action—knowing that as you move, God moves too.
Because your breakthrough isn’t waiting for you at the finish line—it’s waiting for you in the first step.
Love,
